Sophia Sadinsky joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2017. Her work focuses on advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights globally by identifying opportunities to promote Guttmacher research, policy analyses and advocacy efforts. As an Open Society Foundations grantee, Ms. Sadinsky partnered with local human rights defenders to study the role of civil society in the peace process. She also worked with Human Rights Watch, conducting regional human rights monitoring and advocacy in Argentina. Ms. Sadinsky received her master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School, where she earned distinction in international and global affairs. She received a BA in the science in society program and French studies from Wesleyan University.
