Sophia Sadinsky

Senior Policy Associate, Global Issues

Sophia Sadinsky joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2017. As Senior Global Policy Manager, her work focuses on advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights globally by identifying opportunities to maximize the impact of Guttmacher’s research in policy discussions and advocacy efforts. Previously, as an Open Society Foundations grantee, Ms. Sadinsky partnered with local human rights defenders to study the role of civil society in the peace process in Colombia. She also lived for a number of years in Argentina, where she worked with Human Rights Watch conducting regional human rights monitoring and advocacy. Ms. Sadinsky received her master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she earned distinction in international and global affairs. She has a BA in the science in society program and French studies from Wesleyan University.
